Communication process is a verbal or a non verbal language used to interpret or convey a message, which is carried out between
persons and there is a response or reaction. Our face, tone interprets a greeting message by smiling and if we are provoked by a negative
conversation then there is anger in your tone and facial gestures. Being straightforward is a direct method of using verbal communication. Using
of sarcasm, taunts, etc are verbal but indirect method of communication.

Humans communicate through writing letters, sending messages, speaking through phone calls, eye to eye contact, communicating
face to face, conference, seminars, books, newspaper, news event and press release. Communication has also advanced using latest
technology, which includes the use of internet, emails, text messages, chat rooms, forums and blogs. Today communication around the
world has become very speedy through phones and internet.

Communication is a very significant aspect of creating a positive or negative feeling in every field. All the communication is based
on the response from others. So in a communication process both business and personal involves not just presenting ideas to groups or
individual verbally, but also your body language and facial expressions.

Telephone, mobile, emails and internet is used as a long distance communication, but during such communications, we cannot see
the person. So we find it very difficult to understand the response and the meaning of the conversation is also incomplete without facial
expressions, body language, gestures. Face to face conversation provides us with the correct interpretation and we are best certain that the
communication is perfect. Till today the method used for a job interview is still the same i.e face to face interview, to select the best candidate.

Online communications and information through the internet can be misinterpreted as we cannot see the non-verbal expressions
that are vital for a successful communication process. Thus there is a communication gap due to lack of information. However, there are modern
devices like a webcam to improve your communication process. So the communication cues are interpreted correctly to reduce the
communication gap.
